Soft flesh prolapsing from the anal opening may be internal hemorrhoids, rectal prolapse or rectal polyps.
1. Internal hemorrhoids: a kind of hemorrhoids, is due to the blood in the veins of the rectum, under the effect of gravity backflow is blocked due to a disease. It occurs at 3, 7 and 11 points of the truncus position, and can be discharged with the stool during defecation, and in some patients the internal hemorrhoids cannot be returned to the anus.
2. Rectal prolapse: Rectal prolapse is due to elevated intra-abdominal pressure, resulting in the anterior wall of the rectum sliding downward and prolapsing out of the anus, and the prolapse is prone to occur during defecation. Its main feature is that the discharge is bright red, with mucus or blood on the surface; usually the patient has no pain, and the tissue can be left outside the anus or returned to the body.
3. Rectal polyps: Rectal polyps are abnormal proliferation of the mucosa caused by long-term stimulation of inflammation, infection and other factors, resulting in the formation of polyps. Rectal polyp patients will appear bloody stools, anxious and heavy (lower abdominal discomfort, very want to relieve stools, defecation after a sense of incomplete) and other symptoms.
The diagnosis of anal prolapse should be made in a regular hospital, which can help in proper treatment afterwards.
