H. pylori can be treated with anti-inflammatory drugs such as clarithromycin, amoxicillin, and metronidazole. People who have H. pylori through c13 and c14 tests can be treated with antibiotics such as clarithromycin, amoxicillin, metronidazole, and tetracycline. During treatment through antibiotics, treatment is also done by taking proton pump inhibitors such as omeprazole, lansoprazole, pantoprazole, and co-treatment with bismuth such as bismuth potassium citrate and bismuth pectin. The duration of treatment is usually about two weeks, during which a light diet should be maintained and medications need to be applied under the advice of a doctor.
