Sequelae of full femtosecond myopia surgery

After TFT myopia surgery, patients can experience sequelae such as corneal thinning, vision changes, dry eye and eye glare. 1. Corneal thinning: Corneal thinning is a relatively common sequela after TFT myopia surgery, which is also a more serious sequela. If the subsequent fluctuation of intraocular pressure increases, the patient will experience secondary corneal dilatation, i.e. cone cornea. 2. Visual acuity change: After total femtosecond myopia surgery, patients may also experience visual regression. If they do not take good care of their eyes after the surgery and use their eyes excessively, it may lead to an increase in myopia, which may lead to a decrease in the patient’s visual acuity. 3. Dry eye: After full femtosecond myopia surgery, patients may also experience dry eye, dry eyes, foreign body sensation and other uncomfortable symptoms. 4. Eye glare: After TFA myopia surgery, patients may also experience eye glare, which is usually more noticeable in darker places or at night. It is recommended that patients follow the doctor’s instructions for care after TFS myopia surgery, have regular checkups, and seek prompt medical attention when discomfort occurs.
