What kind of women does breast cancer target?

Early menarche, late menopause and long menstrual periods are recognized risk factors for the development of menopause in women. The risk of menopause increases about one time for those who are older than 55 years old than those who are younger than 45 years old. Repeated abortions can make women much more likely to develop breast cancer.
As people’s lifestyles change, the physiology of many women is changing. Nowadays, women’s chances of getting breast cancer have increased greatly, so what are the women who are prone to breast diseases in daily life?
The first type of people: late menarche or menopause before the age of 13
Early menarche (before age 12), late menopause (after age 50), and long periods (>35 years) are all recognized risk factors for the development of breast cancer in women. Statistics show that for every 4-5 years earlier age of menarche, the chance of developing breast cancer increases by one; those who have their menarche at the age of 13-15 years or older have 20% less chance of developing breast cancer than those under 12 years old. The incidence of breast cancer is lower in those who are under 55 years of age at menopause. Those with menopause age greater than 55 years old have about 1 times more risk than those with menopause age less than 45 years old.
The second type of people: breast enlargement that does not heal for years
Mammary gland hyperplasia has four strange temperaments: first, the appearance of lumps with unclear edges in the breast; second, premenstrual breast swelling and pain, even radiating to both shoulders or back, and sometimes uncomfortable; third, the possibility of cancer, especially those belonging to the cystic hyperplasia type, which is said to have a cancer rate of 0.35%; fourth, the long treatment time and poor sensitivity of the hyperplastic tissue to drugs, or the lack of specific drugs for treatment so far.
The third type of people: repeated abortions
Repeated abortions can make women much more likely to develop breast cancer disease. A study showed that spontaneous abortion does not increase the risk of breast cancer; while women who had abortion before the age of 18 had 110% higher risk than those who did not have abortion.
This is because after each abortion, the pregnancy is abruptly interrupted and the hormone level in the body suddenly drops, causing the newly developed mammary glands to suddenly stop growing, making the alveoli smaller or disappearing, and the mammary glands to recover. This recovery is usually incomplete, which can easily cause breast lumps and pain, and can lead to breast diseases, and repeated breast lesions can become a cause of breast cancer.
The fourth type of people: women who marry late and have children late are prone to breast cancer
According to the data, the risk of the disease is 30% higher for women who have never had children than for women who have had children; the risk of the disease is more than 1.5 times higher for women who are not breastfeeding than for breastfeeding women! Breast cancer is one of the malignant tumors with the highest incidence rate in the world, and the incidence rate in China is relatively low, but it is increasing at a rate of 2%-5% every year.
The fifth type of people: not breastfeeding or breastfeeding too long
If you have dimples on your face, it may make you more charming, but if you suddenly have dimples on your breasts, you may have breast cancer. Most of the breast cancers do not have obvious pain, but in the early stage of development, about 5% of people may have bloody nipple overflow, and when the tumor invades the skin, there will be different degrees of dimples, called “dimple sign”.
The most important and basic symptom of breast cancer is a lump in the breast, which is usually found in the upper part of the breast, usually about 2 cm in size, and is irregular and spherical. In addition, changes in breast contour and curvature and nipple shape, such as bilateral breast asymmetry and nipple invagination, are also signs of breast cancer.
The sixth type of people: commonly used hormonal drugs or cosmetics
Some drugs, such as blood pressure medications like reserpine and phenothiazole, and steroids have the effect of increasing the prevalence of breast cancer. Some health products, skin care products and cosmetics contain cancer-causing ingredients. Evidence-based medicine shows that hormone replacement therapy during menopause increases the risk of breast cancer, so women should not take estrogen or progestin supplements casually.
Phthalates are a class of chemicals that act as a softening agent. It is commonly used in toys, food packaging materials, medical blood bags and tubes, vinyl flooring and wallpaper, cleaning agents, lubricants, personal care products such as nail polish, hair sprays, soaps and shampoos, and hundreds of other products.
Among cosmetics, nail polish has the highest phthalate content, and many fragrance ingredients in cosmetics also contain the substance. Professor Cheng Changmei, a professor of chemistry at Tsinghua University, said that this substance in cosmetics can enter the body through women’s respiratory system and skin, and if used excessively, it can increase women’s chances of developing breast cancer and also endanger the reproductive system of their future baby boys.
The seventh type of people: obesity or excessive intake of fat
A recent study jointly published by Swedish and American scientists showed that young women with anorexia nervosa have a lower risk of breast cancer. This suggests that women’s caloric intake in their early years may have a greater role in the formation and development of breast cancer later in life.
The researchers also cautioned that anorexia nervosa is a serious psychological disorder that can lead to the development of several life-threatening complications. Therefore, women should not make the mistake of interpreting the findings of this study to mean that taking a starvation approach will prevent them from developing breast cancer. Their findings only explain the possible mechanisms of breast cancer formation.
Type 8: Mental depression, frequent anger and bad mood
Depressed mood may be related to the high-intensity stress of life at the moment. Many women have developed bad habits such as unreasonable diet structure, poor living habits and excessive life stress. Bad living habits bring depressed spirits, which in the long run lead to acidification of body mass and decrease of human body functions, resulting in poor qi and blood flow, endocrine hormone imbalance and menstrual disorders thus causing breast diseases i.e. mammary gland hyperplasia. If not treated with intervention, breast cancer may be induced.
The ninth type of people: repeated long-term exposure to various kinds of radiation
Electromagnetic radiation. Breast is the tissue that is more sensitive to the carcinogenic activity of electromagnetic radiation. The breast is the most sensitive to the carcinogenic effect of electromagnetic radiation at the mitotic activity stage when you are young.
The tenth type of people: family history of breast cancer excluding genetic causes environmental factors
A recent study by British scientists has shown that one-third of breast cancer patients are genetically predisposed to the disease. Scientists from the University of Cambridge recently reported at the annual meeting of the British Institute of Cancer Research that they found that if the body’s BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes are mutated, the chances of developing breast cancer increase to 70 to 80 percent.
