It is contraindicated for people with cold spleen and stomach, and should not be used with quinoa. Diyu, with the effect of cooling blood to stop bleeding (make blood cool and moist, prevent bleeding), detoxification and astringent sores. It is used for treating hemorrhagic fever, hemorrhoidal blood, leakage (excessive menstrual flow or dripping), scalded by water and fire, eczema, sores, carbuncles and sores. Caution should be exercised in cases of blood in stool, dysentery, leakage and bleeding with stasis.
