Do you do minimally invasive surgery for intraductal papillomas?

Intraductal papillomas, which are mostly referred to clinically as breast ductal papillomas, are amenable to minimally invasive surgery. Patients with intraductal papillomas can undergo surgery through the ducts. The procedure is performed through the ductal opening of the breast, which allows direct visualization of the lesion and removal of the diseased tissue, and has the advantages of less trauma and quicker postoperative recovery, so it is widely used in the clinic. It should be noted that due to the limitation of the diameter of the lens, it is not possible to directly observe and remove papillomas in the terminal mammary ducts, thus limiting the application of the procedure. These patients may need to undergo open surgical treatment to be able to completely remove the diseased tissue in order to achieve the goal of eradicating the disease. It is important to seek medical attention for any abnormalities in the body and to treat them under medical supervision.
