What causes limited lifting of the upper extremities

Restricted lifting of the upper limbs may be due to frozen shoulder, rotator cuff injury, osteoarthritis and radiculopathy.
1. Frozen shoulder: If the patient suffers from arthritis, after the occurrence of frozen shoulder, the patient is prone to obvious pain around the shoulder joint, accompanied by the restriction of shoulder lifting activities, which will lead to the symptom of limitation of lifting the upper limbs.
2. Rotator cuff injury: patients with rotator cuff injury will also have pain in the shoulder joint when they move, which will lead to limitation of lifting the upper limb.
3. Osteoarthritis: patients with degenerative osteoarthritis of the shoulder joint may suffer from edema and adhesion due to inflammation, which may lead to limited lifting of the upper limbs.
4. Neurogenic cervical spondylosis: patients with neurogenic cervical spondylosis may suffer from nerve compression in the neighboring areas, which may lead to upper limb activity limitation.
If the upper limb lifting is limited, it may also be due to cramps, etc., and should go to the hospital in time for examination and treatment.
