Hidden pain inside the rib cage below the right chest is most common in diseases of the right lung base, liver and gallbladder, as follows: i. Inflammation in the right lung base: it can involve the pleura, and the patient will have respiratory-related pain below the right chest, manifested as increased chest pain when inhaling and significant relief of chest pain when holding breath, and lung CT examination can mostly detect inflammatory lesions in the right lung base close to the pleural part; ii. Acute cholecystitis attack: Patients can be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, fever and other symptoms, and the right upper abdominal gallbladder area can present obvious pressure pain and rebound pain during physical examination, and color ultrasound examination is the best way to confirm the diagnosis of acute cholecystitis; third, liver abscess: patients will also have pain under the right chest, and patients mostly have high fever and chills, and there is obvious percussion pain in the liver area during physical examination, and liver ultrasound can find round, or round-like low-density foci with relatively clear borders in the liver area.
