The difference between perianal abscess and boils are the site of onset, symptoms and treatments. 1. Site: Perianal abscess occurs around the anus, while boils are found in parts of the body that are prone to pressure and oil secretion, such as the head, neck, face, armpits and buttocks. 2. Symptoms: Perianal abscess is a suppurative infectious disease of perianal tissues, most of which have internal openings, manifesting as local redness, swelling, heat and pain in the anus, usually with no obvious boundaries, and the range of pain may gradually increase; boils initially show only hard nodules, which may gradually soften and then appear as white pus plugs, and after the plugs are detached, the internal pus may flow out. 3. Treatment: Perianal abscess is usually treated with surgery, sometimes with threads. Boils are usually treated with local anti-infection therapy, and in severe cases, local incision is needed to drain the pus. There are other differences between perianal abscesses and boils, so you should go to a regular hospital in time for differential diagnosis and early treatment, so as not to delay the condition and affect the prognosis.
