Neurological development

Neurological development includes three parts: sensory and perceptual development, motor function development and language development. Among them, motor development includes several stages of balance and gross motor development, and fine motor development. Motor development in children is related to the level of development and maturation of the nervous system and the level of skeletal and muscle development. Movement expands children’s contact with the outside world and promotes the development of sensory perception and thinking, so movement is also closely related to children’s psychological development. Motor development in children includes large movements involving the development of large muscle groups, called gross movements, such as head lifting and turning over; another type of movement involves hand grasping and fine manipulation, called fine movements.
