What to do if you have trichomonas vaginalis

If a woman has yellowish leucorrhea, a large amount of leucorrhea, a distinct odor, and itching of the vulva, it is often considered to be caused by trichomoniasis, which requires a gynecological examination and a routine leucorrhea examination. If a woman is not sexually active, she can only consider taking a sitz bath and oral tinidazole tablets or metronidazole capsules for symptomatic treatment, often with Chuan Bai anti-itch lotion, or compound Phellodendron lotion, or even Chinese herbal medicine for sitz bath. In case of trichomoniasis in sexually active women, you should consider using metronidazole suppositories for vaginal application while washing the vulva with lotion, and you should also take oral tinidazole tablets or metronidazole capsules. It is also important to prohibit intercourse throughout the treatment period to avoid delaying the disease. After the treatment, you should go to the gynecology department for a repeat test to confirm that trichomoniasis is cured before you can arrange intercourse.
