How to treat allergic blepharitis

Allergic blepharitis refers to blepharitis or dermatitis of the eyelid associated with immune factors and is usually classified as contact allergy, systemic immune decline, or localized allergy of the eye caused by systemic allergy. Treatment is mainly based on anti-allergy medications, especially hormonal medications. Eyelid skin allergy can be treated with D&B eye ointment, which is a dual-action hormonal drug that is anti-inflammatory, relieves allergies, effectively stops itching and relieves redness and swelling. It can be used 3-4 times/day for 1-2 weeks and should provide relief. If the ointment alone is not effective, topical anti-allergy drops such as Orotadine drops or oral anti-allergy medication for systemic anti-allergy treatment will be more effective.
