The following very important instructions need to be followed for at least six weeks: 1. Lifting anything over 10-15 pounds is strictly forbidden. 2. Bending, squatting, climbing, double leg splits, bicycling, and jogging are strictly prohibited. 3.Sexual life is strictly forbidden. 4.Bathing is strictly forbidden for two weeks, but you can start showering 24 hours after surgery. Other precautions after surgery: 1.Your urologist may prescribe you, painkillers and antibiotics after surgery. 2, Post-operative pain at the surgical site is not uncommon and can usually be relieved by oral pain medication. 3.Post-operative pain will go away within 2-4 weeks. If the pain continues for four weeks and gets worse, please contact your urologist. If you are unable to urinate on your own after surgery, you will need to have a catheter in place for a short period of time. It is normal for the urine flow to slow down slightly after surgery, and this usually resolves on its own.
