Is arm pain a symptom of early cancer?

There is no necessary connection between arm pain and early cancer, but it cannot be completely excluded. The most common cause of arm pain is muscle and soft tissue injury, which leads to edema of the surrounding tissues and causes arm pain, or neurological causes, such as herniated disc compressing the nerve root and causing arm pain. If it is a tumor of the surrounding bone tissue or a tumor of the surrounding soft tissue, it can compress the surrounding tissue and cause local edema and pain symptoms. Therefore, it can neither be used as a diagnostic criterion for cancer, nor can it exclude cancer.
