Cloudiness left by viral keratitis can usually be eliminated. It is mostly a grayish-white scarring of the clear corneal tissue caused by keratitis, trauma, and other causes. It is often difficult to eliminate through conservative treatments, and usually needs to be eliminated through laser treatment, corneal transplantation, and other methods.
1. If the opacity is relatively superficial, it can be eliminated by laser cutting the cornea with opacity.
2. If the opacity is relatively deep, it can be eliminated by corneal transplantation.
If the opacity is located in the periphery of the cornea, it does not have a significant effect on vision and patients are advised to observe it clinically. If the opacity is located in the pupil area, it has a greater impact on vision, and the treatment methods mentioned above can be considered to improve vision.
It is recommended that the patient should seek medical treatment in time and follow the doctor’s instructions.
