How long does it take to switch from diarrhea formula to regular formula

Diarrhea milk powder can generally be converted to regular milk powder after about 2 weeks of eating, care should be taken to do this under the condition that the baby is healthy and it is not recommended to immediately convert all of the diarrhea milk powder into regular milk powder. Diarrhea milk powder, also known as desensitized milk powder, is mainly suitable for babies who are lactose intolerant. If the diarrhea symptoms improve, you can start to add a small amount of regular formula for desensitization. You can add 2/3 of the diarrhea formula to 1/3 of the regular formula and continue adding for 1 week before halving each. And so on, add 1/3 of the diarrhea formula and 2/3 of the regular formula, and let the baby adapt for another week. Gradually increase the amount of regular milk powder until the child still does not have diarrhea symptoms after all of them are replaced with regular milk powder, and the whole process should be gradual, usually taking about 2 weeks. In daily life, parents should pay attention to the care of lactose intolerant babies. In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the baby’s abdomen to keep warm, usually can be appropriate abdominal massage to regulate the gastrointestinal function.
