Acute rhinitis: most of them are caused by viral infection. It is mainly characterized by nasal dyspnea and runny nose, accompanied by systemic symptoms such as fever, dizziness and cough. Physical examination: extensive congestion and dryness of the nasal mucosa at the beginning, later swelling of the nasal mucosa, and watery, mucus-like or mucopurulent secretion from the common nasal passage or the base of the nose. 2. Chronic rhinitis: caused by chronic inflammation of the nasal mucosa, the onset of the disease history is relatively long. It is mainly characterized by intermittent nasal dyspnea, decreased sense of smell, and recurrent mucous nasal discharge. Physical examination: bilateral inferior turbinate swelling, mucus or mucopurulent mucus can be seen in the nasal tract under the nose. 3. Allergic rhinitis: rhinitis caused by the body’s allergy to certain substances, resulting in recurrent symptoms such as nasal itching, sneezing, runny nose and nasal congestion. The nasal mucosa is pale and edematous, the nasal cavity has watery or mucus-like secretion, and the turbinates are enlarged. 4. Atrophic rhinitis: a kind of slow-onset diffuse, progressive nasal atrophy lesion, with dryness of the nose and nasopharynx, nasal congestion and olfactory loss, headache, dizziness, malodor and other clinical manifestations. Physical examination: the nasal cavity is wide, the nasal mucosa is obviously dry, there are crusts in the nasal cavity, the crusts are yellowish-green or grayish-green, there is a bad smell, and the turbinates are atrophic.
