Scarring of the uterus is a very dangerous procedure because there is a scar, which can rupture if too much pressure is applied during suction. Currently, most of the abortions are performed under ultrasound monitoring, which can prevent this from happening. In some women, the gestational sac is very close to the scar tissue, called a scarred pregnancy, which is more dangerous and requires hospitalization, followed by hysteroscopic aspiration of the scar tissue, with laparoscopic monitoring if necessary, or there is a chance of hemorrhage. Partial repair can be done if necessary, while detailed ultrasound examination and preoperative preparation must be carried out before the abortion to avoid risks during the procedure.
