Congenital vascular malformations are generally considered to be amenable to medication, surgery, and laser treatment.
1. Drug therapy: sclerotherapy, such as sodium cod liver oil, foam sclerosant, hypertonic sugar water and hypertonic saline, such as lesion tissue, can help to alleviate the condition; glucocorticosteroids, such as prednisolone, can help to treat vascular malformations accompanied by hemangiomas; anti-tumor drugs, such as paxil, can help to treat venous malformations and other diseases.
2. Surgical treatment: open surgical treatment, the more common is malformation vascular resection; interventional therapy, if caused by normal blood vessel stenosis, need to receive stent implantation; abnormal expansion of blood vessels need to be embolized to correct the vascular malformation and improve the blood supply.
3. Laser therapy: For superficial tissue microvascular malformations, argon ion and krypton ion therapy can be considered.
In addition, in addition to these treatments, other treatment modalities are not excluded. Different treatments are suitable for different patients. It is recommended that the patient undergoes an examination and the specialist chooses the appropriate treatment according to the needs of the patient’s condition.
