Semixia Diarrhea Heart Soup is indicated for the treatment of cold-heat syndrome (the simultaneous presence of cold and heat syndromes in the same patient), and is generally not used in the treatment of syncopal diseases (diseases caused by the invasion of the syncopal meridian by an exogenous pathogen). It is recommended to follow the doctor’s prescription. Semixia Diarrhea Heart Soup has the effect of equalizing cold and heat, eliminating lumps and dispersing knots. It can be used for treating the plumpness caused by the mixture of cold and heat. Symptoms include plumpness under the heart (mainly referring to the distension and discomfort in the stomach), but fullness without pain, or vomiting, intestinal bleeding and discharging, with greasy and slightly yellowish coating on the tongue. It is often used in the treatment of acute and chronic gastroenteritis, chronic colitis, chronic hepatitis, early cirrhosis of the liver, etc., which are characterized by weakness of the middle qi and intermittent conjugation of cold and heat. It should not be used if the plumpness under the heart is caused by stagnation of qi or food stagnation (accumulation of food in the stomach due to indigestion). If Half-summer Laxative Heart Soup is required, it must be used under the guidance of a medical professional.
