How to write pathology report form for gastric cancer

The pathology report card of gastric cancer can be divided into two types, one is the pathology report of gastroscopic biopsy and the other is the pathology report of surgical resection of tumor of gastric cancer. The pathology report card of gastric cancer biopsy can see malignant tumor cells according to the microscopic biopsy tissue. According to the differentiation type of cell nucleus, the diagnosis of pathology report card can be highly differentiated, low differentiated, medium differentiated, some are indolent cell carcinoma and some are undifferentiated carcinoma. If the biopsy result is only inflammation, the pathology report card suggests chronic inflammation of mucosa. The pathology report card of tumor resection after surgery should specifically describe the location of the tumor in the stomach, the size of the tumor, the level of the tumor invading the stomach wall, and whether there are cancerous emboli in the surrounding nerves, blood vessels and lymphatic vessels. It should also describe whether there is any residual cancer cells in the surgical margin and the greater omentum, how many of the lymph nodes sent for examination are cancer metastases and how many are not, and whether the immunohistochemistry results, such as CK20, Her-2, KI-67, are positive or negative.
