How do you get gallbladder adenomyosis?

Adenomyosis of the gallbladder is caused by hyperplasia of the mucosal glands of the gallbladder and is relatively common in young and middle-aged people, with symptoms such as dyspepsia. The mucosal glands of the gallbladder become hyperplastic and gradually extend into the muscular layer, resulting in the appearance of many sinusoidal structures in the wall of the gallbladder. With the deepening of the position and the accumulation of bile, this sinusoidal structure will gradually form smooth hyperplastic muscle, leading to thickening of the gallbladder wall, disorganization of the gallbladder structure, and ultimately causing gallbladder adenomyosis. At present, the age of onset of the disease is relatively common in young and middle-aged people, and it is more common in women. China’s gallbladder adenomyosis is mainly distributed in North China and East China, which is related to the local climate and dietary habits. Patients will experience symptoms such as indigestion, loss of appetite, fullness or vague pain in the epigastrium. If accompanied by acute cholecystitis or gallstones, epigastric pain, fever, nausea and other symptoms will occur. It is recommended to go to the hospital in time when the above symptoms occur.
