Dermatopin is the trade name, generic name of compound dexamethasone acetate cream, the drug has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and mild anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipruritic effect, can be used for the treatment of limited pruritus, neurodermatitis, contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, as well as chronic eczema.
Prolonged use of the drug may cause skin atrophy, capillary dilatation, hyperpigmentation and secondary infections, and occasionally allergic reactions.
Please note that the drug is contraindicated in cases where the affected area is broken, pus-filled or with significant exudation; in cases of viral infections (e.g. herpes, chickenpox, etc.); in cases of allergy to the drug; and in cases where the drug’s properties have changed.
Pregnant women, lactating women, athletes, allergic individuals should be cautious, and pediatrics should also be avoided.
