Azelaic acid (cream) can be used together with adapalene (gel). 1. Azelaic Acid Cream: It is a dermatologic medication that can be used to treat mild to moderate normal acne. Adverse reactions: there is a possibility of local itching irritation, tingling sensation, or dry skin, rash. It is forbidden to use it if you are allergic to the ingredients of the drug. 2. Adapalene Gel: belongs to the group of retinoids, clinically used for the treatment of pimples, papules and pustules as the main manifestation of common acne. Adverse reactions are local irritation, dryness, itching, burning pain. It is contraindicated in people who are allergic to the components of the drug; in people who are allergic to derivatives of retinoic acid; in patients with acute or subacute eczema-like skin diseases; and in women during pregnancy or preparation for pregnancy. Azelaic acid can be used together with Adapalene, but it is recommended that the two drugs be applied to the affected area at intervals to avoid aggravation of adverse reactions and so on.
