Radix Angelicae Sinensis and Radix et Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori are the main treatments for typhoid fever (illness caused by fever due to feeling cold), fox bewilderment, hematemesis, bleeding followed by defecation, intestinal carbuncle (carbuncle occurring in the intestines and bowels with fever, pain in the right abdomen, and palpable lumps), and defecation of pus. Symptoms include bleeding first, then bleeding in the stool, and ulceration and pus in the anus.
