To investigate the clinical efficacy of thoracolumbar vertebroplasty with CT-guided injection of biodegradable calcium-phosphorus bone cement through the pedicle! METHODS: An injectable and degradable bone cement was injected into the collapsed vertebral body of a patient with osteoporosis through a CT-guided arch hole on one side and internal fixation of the spine was performed via the posterior approach! Liu Hong, Department of Orthopaedics, Peking University First Hospital Results: The bone substitute was easily injected into the vertebral body to strengthen the collapsed vertebral body under CT guidance through the arch root drilling! All patients showed significant improvement in postoperative symptoms! Conclusion: CT-guided injection of resorbable vertebroplasty through the arch can help surgeons to increase the support strength of the collapsed vertebral body through a safe approach!
