Green therapy for hyperlipidemia

The incidence of these metabolic syndromes such as hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia and hyperuricemia is increasing year by year, and the resulting cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases have become a major threat to the lives of middle-aged and elderly people. At present, the main treatment for hyperlipidemia is oral statins, and the serious adverse effects of statins not only make the patients taking lipid-lowering drugs fearful, but also make the treating doctors fearful. Therefore, it is the common desire of doctors and patients to find a safe, effective and inexpensive treatment method. Ozone is the second most powerful oxidizer after fluorine, but it is harmless when used in concentrations within medical limits. When ozone meets tissue fluid, blood, lymph fluid and urine, the following reaction will occur immediately: ozone (O3) + biological macromolecules → O2 + O. O2 is dissolved oxygen, which can circulate with the above body fluids to various tissue parts of the body and supply oxygen to oxygen-deficient tissues rapidly and directly, so the treatment of various diseases related to oxygen deficiency is fast and effective. O is a single oxygen atom, which has strong oxidizing property and can oxidize and decompose various disease-causing microorganisms, waste products and toxic substances produced by the body’s metabolism. At the same time, the single oxygen atom (O) can also quickly generate hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) with the above-mentioned water molecules (H2O) in body fluids. Hydrogen peroxide is a beneficial substance for human body, and it will trigger different biochemical reactions in the body under different PH conditions, so it can treat a variety of diseases. In February 2004, the American journal Science published the article “Evidence of Ozone Formation in Human Atherosclerotic Arteries”, reporting that British scientists, after analyzing fourteen carotid plaque specimens from patients with atherosclerosis, found that The chemical structure analysis also showed that the Δ5.6 bond of cholesterol was double-broken by ozone. Ozone can break the Δ5-6 double bond in cholesterol and oxidize it to 4b-2.4DD dinitrophenylhydrazone. Scientists deduced that if it can oxidize cholesterol, it should be able to lower blood lipids, and this deduction was confirmed by subsequent clinical practice. In February 2004, ArtifOrgans published the article “The effect of ozone macroautohemotherapy on maintaining the endothelium of lipidprofile in hemodialysis patients”, which reported that after ozone macroautohemotherapy in dyslipidemic patients with advanced kidney disease and patients with accelerated lipid abnormalities due to hemodialysis, total cholesterol was significantly reduced by 8.34% and LDL was significantly lower than the initial value of 17.7%, which indicates that ozone macroautohemotherapy can transform dyslipidemic patients in a favorable direction. In the article “Intravenous ozone therapy lowers blood cholesterol and stimulates antioxidant response in cardiac patients” published by the National Ozone Research Center of Cuba, 22 patients with a history of myocardial infarction for 3-12 months reported a 5.5% and 9.7% reduction in total plasma cholesterol and a 15.4% and 19.8% reduction in LDL, respectively, after 5-15 sessions of ozone macroautohemotherapy. Their report showed that the changes in lipids were related to the number of ozone macroautohemotherapy sessions. The German journal Acozon-Information published a report by Dr. HorstKief, in which he wrote: “This treatment significantly reduces firstly cholesterol, secondly uric acid and thirdly the pathologically increased transaminase levels”. He noted that “the average time for ozone therapy to begin to have an effect on cholesterol reduction is after about 15 days. The ability of high-pressure ozone macrohemotherapy to safely and effectively lower blood lipids has also been confirmed in clinical practice in many hospitals in China. Clinical applications at home and abroad have confirmed that after 5-15 times of ozone macrohemotherapy, about 90% of blood lipids improve significantly and about 60% of blood lipids return to normal. Regarding adverse reactions, foreign literature reported that a retrospective survey was conducted on more than 40,000 patients who had received ozone macrohemotherapy, and it was found that only 0.000007% of the patients had experienced minor side effects, including facial flushing, peripheral fever, dry eyes and general lethargy, and these symptoms would disappear soon after treatment. More than 100,000 patients have been treated with large autologous blood in China without a single death or serious complications. Compared with commonly used lipid-lowering drugs, ozone therapy has the advantages of exact efficacy, small side effects, good safety and low cost. Moreover, it can improve the oxygen supply status of the body and enhance immunity, so this technology is called the “green therapy” for hyperlipidemia.
