Pre-school holiday syndrome, which manifests itself as sensitivity and aversion to the start of school; more frantic play before the start of school, tantrums and lethargy at the mention of school; some children are frantic to catch up on homework before the start of school and are irritable inside. Is it the same for all children? Of course not. Holiday syndrome is the result of the interaction of many factors, including the child’s interest in learning, whether he or she is happy in school, the comprehensive arrangement of the holiday, and so on. It can be divided into the following types according to the above-mentioned situation: Continuous tension type: Mostly seen in children who are approaching the midterm and college entrance exams, the holiday time is only half of the other children, the holiday is actively and passively arranged a lot of cramming and upgrading classes, not even a few lazy sleep, not to mention a few days of beautiful relaxation, mentioning that school is about to start again, the inner irritability and headache. The full and calm type: You did what you wanted to do during the holidays, maybe arranged your favorite training course, arranged your long-awaited trip, helped your family to do what you should do and felt a sense of accomplishment, arranged the courses you wanted to learn, and you are ready to welcome the upcoming new semester. Nervous and apprehensive: Mostly seen in children who continue to play during the holidays, spending a lot of free time to play, and after playing every day, they can’t even do their summer homework without worrying, and start to catch up with their homework before the school year starts. Happy-expecting type: Mostly seen in children who are interested in learning and have a reasonable arrangement of recreation, leisure and study during holidays, who have a rich and colorful summer life and get along well with their classmates and peers, who have adjusted their work and rest time reasonably well before school starts, and who have long been looking forward to meeting their classmates and starting new knowledge learning. In short, parents should be more attentive to their children who are about to start school. The self-awareness of primary and secondary school students is not yet fully formed, so parents should guide their children to meditate on books and return to study in advance; high school students can reasonably adjust their children’s rest time and life focus by getting up in the morning and going to exercise together, going to the bookstore together to select books, etc., to guide their children out of the holiday state.
