The amount of milk for a 9-month-old baby is usually 700-800ml per day, which can be divided into 4-5 nursing sessions, on top of which 1-3 complementary foods can be added. At 9 months of age, babies have already developed teeth and parents can add complementary foods on top of breastfeeding. It is recommended to add fruits, rice flour, rice porridge, fish floss, meat floss, oatmeal porridge, lean meat porridge, vegetable porridge and other supplementary foods in between breastfeeding sessions. Because each child’s physique is different, appetite also varies, so we need to reasonably arrange the feeding time and frequency of complementary food according to their own child’s situation. In addition, since 9-month-old babies are already teething, parents should help their children to train their chewing function and prepare for weaning later.
