Pneumothorax oxygenation method

The general method of oxygen absorption in pneumothorax patients is through a nasal cannula. Oxygen absorption facilitates pneumothorax absorption because oxygen is more diffusible than carbon dioxide. For patients who have not undergone surgery, a small amount of pneumothorax, and no drainage tube or puncture tube is placed, oxygen should be administered for observation. Patients with pneumothorax can absorb 50-70mL per day on their own, while it will be faster after oxygen inhalation, so generally after conservative treatment with oxygen inhalation, patients with small air leakage can be treated for 1-2 weeks, especially for patients with primary and spontaneous pneumothorax who need to take final exams or entrance exams, applying conservative oxygen inhalation treatment will neither affect their exams nor their treatment.
