Symptoms of Pearly Papules

Pearly papulosis, a condition that characteristically occurs on the vulva in men. It is also considered a common penile condition, characterized by the appearance, near the penile coronal groove, of collar-like or ring-like changes. The lesions are usually uniform papules with a relatively smooth or rounded surface that look similar to a circle of small pearls, and based on this presentation and appearance, some call it penile pearly papulosis, which is a morphologic description. This condition usually does not require any specific treatment, and in some cases will subside on its own.
