Can you catch the flu without a fever?

It is not possible to generalize whether influenza is contagious if the virus has been completely cleared, but if the virus is still present in the body, it is contagious.
The fact that a person with influenza does not have a fever can only mean that the condition is gradually recovering and the viral load is gradually decreasing, but it does not mean that the person is completely recovered. If the virus has been completely removed from the body and the test is negative for the virus, it is generally not contagious.
If you simply do not have a fever, but still have the influenza virus in your body or in the incubation period, it is also contagious and may spread through direct contact or through the respiratory tract.
If you are worried about being infected with the flu, you should take good care of yourself and your personal hygiene, and open the windows frequently to ensure fresh air, and keep a certain distance between you and the patient, or choose to wear a mask. If symptoms such as body fever, warmth and fatigue occur after contact with the patient, prompt medical attention is recommended.
