Many tumors are solitary and will appear as a lump in the breast. The lump is small at first, but will gradually increase in size and become fixed, affecting the skin and causing a change in skin color or orange peel. Most breast cancers have lymph node metastasis, where the breast tumor metastasizes to the lymph nodes around the breast along the lymphatic ducts, resulting in enlarged lymph nodes or even fused into a mass. The examination should focus on the breast lump and the lymph nodes, including ultrasound and mammography, and then decide on the treatment.
