What to do about post-operative pituitary tumor uveitis

The first thing that must be done to confirm the diagnosis of enuresis after pituitary tumor surgery is the occurrence of enuresis. The diagnosis is based mainly on the volume of urine if it exceeds 250 ml/h for 1-2 h and the specific gravity of urine is less than 1.005, at this moment the diagnosis of urosepsis needs to be considered. If uremia occurs, its treatment should pay attention to replenishing the lost fluid. If the rate of loss is too fast and it is difficult to keep up with intravenous or oral supplementation, vasopressin needs to be given, commonly used drugs are posterior pituitary hormone 5-10 units, which can have an antidiuretic effect for 4-6h, or oral mydriasis, carbamazepine, etc. Central venous pressure monitoring is required during medication administration, as it can guide rehydration and allow better assessment of the adequacy of rehydration.
