Cerebral infarction is mainly prevented through lifestyle intervention, control of underlying diseases and drug treatment.
1. Lifestyle intervention: maintain emotional well-being and sufficient sleep, avoid overwork; quit smoking and drinking; eat a light diet, avoid high salt, high sugar and high fat foods; exercise properly; obese people need to control their weight.
2. Basic disease control: hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, etc. are risk factors for cerebral infarction, and people with related basic diseases need to control them. For example, oral drugs such as timosartan should be taken to control blood pressure; oral drugs such as acarbose should be taken to control blood sugar; oral drugs such as atorvastatin should be taken to control blood lipids.
3. Drug prevention: For patients who have suffered from cerebral infarction, long-term oral antithrombotic or anticoagulant drugs and plaque-stabilizing drugs are needed to prevent recurrence of cerebral infarction. Commonly used drugs include aspirin, clopidogrel, rivaroxaban, warfarin, riscovastatin, atorvastatin and so on.
Cerebral infarction is a disease with high morbidity, disability and mortality, and needs to be actively prevented.
Drugs need to be taken under the guidance of a physician, do not blindly self-medication.
