Recently read a report about a Danish scientist’s study, he conducted a study on 3486 men’s active and passive smoking and healthy fertility: the conclusion was that the offspring were born with early pubertal development, lower average height, lower sex hormone levels in the body, smaller testicles, lower sperm density, etc.; and of course, the IQ of the offspring, the rate of some congenital malformations in the offspring, etc.! It’s scary! We only know that smoking only affects ourselves or our surrounding partners, but now we also know that smoking also endangers future generations. A study of semen from 655 smokers and 1131 non-smokers found that: 1) the sperm density, total sperm count and motile sperm count of smokers decreased by 15.3%, 17.5% and 16.6% respectively compared to non-smokers; 2) the proportion of normal sperm decreased in smokers, which means that the rate of sperm malformation increased; 3) the sperm survival rate of smokers 3. The sperm survival rate, semen volume and seminal plasma fructose concentration also decreased in smokers; 4. The DNA double helix structure of the sperm head and the testicular interstitial cells were damaged, which was positively correlated with younger age, higher volume and longer duration; 5. damage, which in turn increases the level of carbon dioxide in the blood; reduced blood flow to the penis; reduced nitric oxide; lack of oxygen to the penis; and finally leads to erectile dysfunction. Other, such as lung cancer incidence has been known to everyone, smoking on reproduction, especially on their offspring caused by the great adverse effects, not many people know, our male doctors strongly urge everyone for their own health, more future generations, as soon as possible away from smoking, smoking has a hundred harm but no benefit.
