How long do you usually live with lung cancer?

The survival time of lung adenocarcinoma patients is not specific, but depends on the stage of the tumor, the patient’s physical condition and the treatment method. If early stage lung adenocarcinoma is detected in time and there is no distant metastasis yet, patients without contraindications to surgery should be treated by radical resection, and most of these patients have a good prognosis with a 5-year survival rate close to 100%. If the patient is already in the middle or late stage of lung adenocarcinoma, surgical resection combined with radiotherapy and targeted drug therapy can be considered as a comprehensive treatment. If the patient is diagnosed with advanced lung adenocarcinoma or has distant metastasis, palliative treatment is usually the only option. Patients with lung adenocarcinoma should maintain a positive and optimistic attitude, strive for early detection and take reasonable and effective treatment at an early stage in order to improve the disease, enhance the quality of life and prolong the survival period.
