Mucinous tubular and spindle cell carcinoma

These tumors account for less than 1% of renal tumors. They are largely solid masses with well-defined borders. The histology shows elongated or anastomosing tubular structures with some areas of spindle cells; the nuclei are low grade; and the interstitium is basophilic and mucinous. Immunohistochemistry was positive for CK7, PAX2, and P504S.
