Rose is warm in nature and drinking rose tea in large quantities or for a long period of time may cause symptoms of fire. Rose, has the effects of relieving liver depression (treating depression by unblocking liver qi) and activating blood circulation to relieve pain (relieving pain by removing blood stasis). It is mainly used in treating pain and distension of the epigastrium (abdomen), vomiting, eructation and poor appetite due to liver depression, menstrual disorders due to liver depression and stagnation of qi (poor qi and blood circulation of the liver and emotional depression), and premenstrual breast distension and pain. Note that rosehip is contraindicated in cases of yin deficiency with fire. The effective dosage of rosehip tea is limited and generally cannot achieve a therapeutic effect. If there is any discomfort after drinking rose tea, it is recommended to stop using it and seek medical advice promptly.
