Six Gentlemen Soup: It is mainly composed of hemixia, ginseng, poria, tangerine peel, etc. It has the effect of strengthening the spleen, benefiting the qi, drying dampness and resolving phlegm, and can treat the syndrome of spleen and stomach weakness with phlegm-dampness, which can be seen in the syndrome of spleen deficiency with phlegm, shortness of breath and coughing, white phlegm with sputum or vomiting, and loss of appetite. The adverse effects of this drug are not known; pregnant women should be cautious of its use; and those with gastric yin deficiency (insufficient yin fluid in the stomach) should be cautious of its use. From the above, it can be seen that the combination of San Zi Nourishing Relatives Tang and Liu Jun Zi Tang may have the effects of strengthening the spleen, eliminating food, drying dampness and resolving phlegm. It should be noted that Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata will diminish the effect of ginseng in replenishing qi, therefore, the dosage should be controlled when using it. Therefore, the dosage should be controlled. It is recommended to take a light diet during the use of this drug.
