Whether thrombocytopenia in children can be cured depends on the cause and the original disease, if not actively treated, it may be life-threatening, as detailed below. Thrombocytopenia in children is mainly due to platelet generation disorder, platelet distribution abnormality, platelet destruction or excessive consumption and other conditions. 1. Pharmacologic thrombocytopenia and idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura have a better prognosis, and some patients can be cured, and children’s idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura is a self-limiting disease, and most of the patients can be relieved on their own. 2. In case of infectious thrombocytopenic purpura, most of the patients will have their platelets normalized after 2-6 weeks of infection control, but it can only be clinically cured and cannot be cured at all. Therefore, it is necessary to pay more attention to open windows and keep indoor air circulation, and strengthen the warmth to prevent upper respiratory tract infections. 3. In case of bone marrow infiltrative thrombocytopenia, the prognosis is relatively poor due to the difficulty in eradicating the primary disease, and it cannot be cured. It is suggested that children with thrombocytopenia should follow the doctor’s instructions for systematic treatment in time and cooperate with the doctor to take good care of themselves, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
