Can sinusitis be treated entirely with medication?

There are many causes of sinusitis, which can be due to congenital anatomical variation, to organic metaplasia, or to bacterial infection. Among so many factors, medication can only control sinusitis caused by allergic reactions and bacterial infections, while sinusitis caused by anatomical variations can only be solved by surgery. In addition, sinusitis due to allergic reactions, once the mucous membrane in the sinuses has formed polyps, or severe edema, it is no longer possible to treat with medication alone, at which point a combination of medication + surgery should be performed. In addition, for most children with sinusitis, conservative treatment such as medication is still the mainstay, while for most adult patients, sinusitis can no longer be completely treated by medication alone.
