The survival of patients with liver metastases from colon cancer varies greatly depending on the disease. According to the literature, the median survival of patients with liver metastases from colon cancer who are able to achieve surgical R0 resection, that is, complete resection, is 35 months, with a 5-year survival rate of 30%-50%. However, the median survival time for patients who could not be surgically resected was only 12-15 months, with a 5-year survival rate of less than 5%.
