Xiao Qing Long Tang is a soup composed of the herbs Ephedra, Paeoniae, Hsio Xin, Roasted Licorice, Dry Ginger, Cinnamomum, Wu Wei Zi and Semen. It has the effect of dispersing cold from the exterior and warming the lung to dissolve drinks. In clinical application, it is mainly used for the symptoms of external cold and internal drinks, such as clinical occurrence of malignant cold and fever, head and body pain, no sweating, cough and wheezing, clear and abundant sputum, dry vomiting, phlegm and wheezing, inability to lie down or body pain, swelling of the head, face and extremities, and floating pulse.
