Proteinuria 1+ is positive proteinuria. Positive proteinuria is not necessarily a kidney disease. Positive proteinuria can be divided into two categories: physiological and pathological. Physiological proteinuria generally belongs to functional proteinuria, which can also occur with postural changes, and the amount of proteinuria is often relatively small, probably not more than 1g in 24 hours, and it occurs intermittently. If there is no fever or strenuous exercise or postural changes, the proteinuria quantification is normal; if the proteinuria is pathological, we should consider the patient to be a kidney disease, and should promptly consult a doctor to identify the cause and give treatment.
