What medicines can be taken to get rid of phlegm-dampness

Commonly used medicines to get rid of phlegm-dampness include Chen Xia Liu Jun Zi Pill and Ping Stomach San, but generally speaking, there is no such thing as getting rid of the root of phlegm-dampness.
1. Chenxia Six Gentlemen Pills: Composed of Codonopsis, Atractylodes Macrocephala (earth fried), Poria, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae, Semen Haematoxylinae (made), and Radix Glycyrrhizae Praeparatae, this medicine is good for tonifying the spleen, strengthening the stomach and regulating the body’s qi to resolve phlegm. It is often used in cases of weakness of the spleen and the stomach, poor appetite, abdominal distension and chest tightness, and deficiency of qi and phlegm.
It should be noted that it is contraindicated in pregnant women and is forbidden to be taken by those who are allergic to the drug. Adverse reactions are not clear.
3. Flat Stomach San: It is composed of Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae and Glycyrrhiza Glabra, with ginger and jujube as the guide. It has the effect of drying dampness and expelling phlegm, and can treat abdominal distension and anorexia, which are common among people with phlegm-dampness constitution, while treating phlegm-dampness. It should be noted that this medicine is not suitable for people with spleen and stomach yin deficiency (insufficient yin fluid in the spleen and stomach).
Medicines for regulating phlegm-dampness should be used under the guidance of a Chinese medicine practitioner, and should not be used on one’s own, as this may result in incorrect medication, leading to undesirable consequences.
