How to set free teeth

A free tooth is a missing back tooth that can usually be veneered with either a removable denture or an implant denture. The denture is usually made with abutments, clasps and artificial teeth, and the denture is attached to the neighboring teeth with clasps. This method is less expensive, but since there are no teeth behind the free tooth, the abutment of the denture has to be extended to the teeth on the opposite side of the free tooth and needs to be secured with a retaining ring. The patient has a foreign body sensation when using the denture, and the denture is also prone to wobbling. There is another type of implant denture restoration, i.e., preparing a hole directly on the alveolar bone of the missing tooth, then implanting the implant denture, and then restoring the implant denture on the implant denture after it combines well with the alveolar bone. This method has no damage to the neighboring teeth and restores high chewing efficiency. No matter which way of treatment is used, it needs to be examined and determined according to the specific situation, and it is recommended that the patient seek medical treatment as soon as possible.
