Undifferentiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma is highly malignant and more serious compared to other nasopharyngeal carcinoma subtypes. NPC can be classified into carcinoma in situ, minimally invasive carcinoma, highly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma, moderately differentiated squamous cell carcinoma, poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma, vesicular nucleated cell carcinoma, undifferentiated carcinoma, and adenocarcinoma. Undifferentiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma is the most malignant and therefore relatively serious, highly invasive and easily metastasized. Once diagnosed with undifferentiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma, patients need to cooperate with doctors to take standardized treatment. Radiation therapy is the most commonly used treatment for nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and if the disease is in the early stage, radiotherapy can be carried out alone. If the disease reaches the middle or late stage, in addition to radiotherapy, it is also necessary to combine with chemotherapy and targeted therapy, and the prognosis is still good. It is suggested that patients with undifferentiated nasopharyngeal cancer should keep a good mood, avoid excessive tension, and should cooperate with doctors for active treatment. Timely accepting standardized treatment, there exists the possibility of clinical cure.
