How long does it usually take to cure diarrhea and fever in children?

How long it takes to cure diarrhea and fever in children cannot be generalized, but needs to be judged in the context of the child’s specific condition. There are many causes of diarrhea and fever in children, such as infections and gastrointestinal disorders, and the most common disease is gastroenteritis. Usually, if the child has mild symptoms and is in good general condition, the course of the disease will be relatively shortened after symptomatic treatment such as anti-infection and anti-diarrhea, and will be cured in about 3-7 days. However, if the child’s condition is more serious or the cause of diarrhea and fever is more complicated, such as intestinal tumor, the course of the disease will be relatively longer and requires improvement of relevant examinations to clarify the cause of the disease and then active treatment. Therefore, when a child has diarrhea, he or she should first go to the hospital to check the stool routine, and if there are obvious abnormalities, it is recommended to further improve the relevant tests and actively treat the child, and in the process, let the child drink more warm water to avoid dehydration.
