The scarless double eyelid is not permanent. There are currently three main approaches to double eyelid surgery: the full-cut method, the Korean three-dot method and the buried liner method. The trauma to the tissues of the three methods is reduced in turn, and the maintenance time of the double eyelids is also reduced in turn. The scarless double eyelid surgery means the buried double eyelid surgery. Buried eyelid surgery is a procedure in which sutures or polymer sutures are placed directly between the skin and the lid, causing the upper eyelid skin to adhere to the lid and forming a heavy eyelid. Buried eyelid surgery is mainly suitable for young people with large lid fissures, thin eyelids, no bloating, no laxity in the eyelid skin and normal tension, and no medial canthus. Most people can maintain their eyelid surgery for about 2-3 years, but if they have swollen eyelids, thick upper eyelids, and thick subcutaneous fat, the effect is even shorter. The full-cut method can be maintained to more than 10 years, and the Korean three-dot maintenance time is more than 5 years. Therefore, compared to the incision double eyelid, a large proportion of patients with scarless double eyelid will gradually disappear or become lighter over time.
